One thing I learned pretty early in my periods of trying to find a good platform where I could share my poetry is that engagement is probably one of the most important things when it comes to growing an audience for anything but one should not always start with the aim to make money, I think that affects creativity to some extent and it'll have you planning and worrying too much.

If you find a platform you enjoy, engage with similar content as much as you can and then decide how you want to go about sharing.. as you get familiar with the platform, both engagement time and posting frequencies will either go up or down depending on the kind of creative you are.

I don't think blogging is dead, I just think it's important to have a long term mindset when it comes to things like this.
